Old silk farm with 20 meter swimming pool
Domaine des Camarades is an old "magnanerie" from the 19th Century used for the production of silk and the cultivation of fruit. The farm consists of multiple buildings which form a little village (hameau) just for your private use. It's located on the south side of a mountain close to the old village of Mirmande and is fully protected from the mistral winds. The private domaine totals 40 hectares of orchards, woods and grassland. A temperature controlled swimming pool of 20 meters long overlooks the valley with views of Mirmande and the surrounding mountains. The property is very spacious and can easily host 7 to 8 persons. Be careful with very small children because of the staircases in the main house and swimming pool (which can be easily closed with an electric shutter).

Various walking and mountain bike trails pass by the grounds. The local road at the entrance takes you in 5' to the village of Mirmande where you will find restaurants and shops. In the area around Mirmande you can enjoy vineyards, fruit and olive orchards, lavender fields, medieval villages and endless outdoors. You can reach the Mediterranean Sea or the Alps in two hours by car. Or within shorter distance places such as Lyon, Valence, Avignon, the river Drôme valley, the Ardèche and the many villages in the Provence and around the Mont Ventoux.

Practical Information
Main house: 7 persons
The spacious and fully renovated main house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living area with mezzanine and fireplace, a kitchen and a large summer kitchen with BBQ. Available for Saturday-Saturday weekly rentals.
Pool
The heated pool is 20 by 6 meters, including a deep section with diving board to test your skills. Relax and enjoy the views from the pool, or swim your laps in the morning. A motorized shutter closes the pool safely for little children.
Services
Bed Linen and bath towels are included. The rental costs will be increased with end cleaning service. Weekly cleaning service can be obtained at an additional charge.

Garden
Domaine des Camarades provides endless opportunities to enjoy the private grounds of 40 hectares of woods, grassland and a lush garden. Play football, table tennis, jeu de boules, or simply enjoy nature at it's best !

Enjoy the village of Mirmande which is classified as one of the most beautiful villages of France. Explore the castles of Crest, Grignan or the Papal palace in Avignon.
Antique & Food Markets
You can visit a local food or antique market every day in the summer period. Cliousclat, Nyons, Dieulefit, Saou, Orange, Isle sur la Sorgue to name a few.
Outdoor Activities
Hit one of the walking or mountain bike trails that start right at the entrance of the estate. Go climbing or explore the Via Ferrata in nearby Saou or the Parc Naturel du Vercors. Enjoy kayaking on the river Drôme or Ardèche, or explore the bike routes of "Drome a Velo".
Mountains
You have plenty of options close by if you like to explore higher altitudes. The Parc Naturel du Vercors just North of Mirmande offers climbing, canyoning, and many walking and MTB trails. Or try places such as Alpes d'Huez which can be reached within two hours drive.
Mediterranean Sea
Enjoy the Mediterranean Sea which can be reached by car in two hours. Explore fishing villages such as Cassis, relax on one of the beaches along the beautiful "Calangues" coastline or enjoy a day on the water by renting a kayak, sailing or motorboat.
